I like you so much I want to jump you, make you fall over, so I can help you up again.
I want to sew you a little blanket to keep you warm at night. I want to buy you 8 hour cream for your soar lips. I want to bring you lunch since I know you’re always broke and hungry.
I like you so much I want to manipulate your chair so you fall back when you sit down. I want to give you time and money, nice weather and just the right sunshine to bring your freckles out. I want to get you a little puppy and someone to watch it when you get tired of it. I want to get you a bow for your hair and a friend for when I’m away. I love you so much I want to tattoo your little face on mine.
Oh I can’t keep it in, I can’t keep it in, I’ve gotta let it out. I’ve got to show the world, world’s got to see, see all the love love that’s in me. I said, why walk alone, why worry when it’s warm over here. You’ve got so much to say, say what you mean, mean what you’re thinking, and think anything. Oh why, why must you waste you’re life away, you’ve got to live for today, then let it go Oh, lover, I want to spend this time with you, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do, If you let me know. And I can’t keep it in, I can’t hide it and I can’t lock it away. I’m up for your love, love heats my blood, blood spins my head, and my head falls in love, oh.
No, I can’t keep it in, I can’t keep it in, I’ve gotta let it out. I’ve gotta show the world, world’s got to know, know of the love, love that lies low, so Why can’t you say, If you know, then why can’t you say. You’ve got too much deceit, deceit kills the light, light needs to shine, I said shine light , shine light. Love, That’s no way to live your life, you allow too much to go by, and that won’t do. No, lover. I want to have you here by my side Now don’t you run, don’t you hide, while I’m with you.
‘N I can’t keep it in, I can’t keep it in, I’ve gotta let it out. I’ve got to show the world, world’s got to see, see all the love love that’s in me. I said, why walk alone, why worry when it’s warm over here. You’ve got so much to say, say what you mean mean what you’re thinking, and think anything. Why not? Now why why why not?

Permanent Vacation have a special meal for when we dine together. Since generosity is our thing we have decided to give you the secret behind PV strenght in trying stress-times:
Fryed fish fingers
toast with fibers
Make into a burger and swine.
So much to celebrate. Christmas is coming up, which to us is two festive months with good food, adorned surroundings and homecoming friends and sisters. We encourage everyone to assemble all friends and arrange a Christmas smorgasbord.
After christmas the New Year somehow has to be survived. Then it’s delivery of spring collection and showing fall collection. Then it’s crazy spring, Swedish spring is a three months long celebration of the return of the light and somewhere in the middle one of us is having a jubilee birthday which of course will be celebrated with a banquet. We were thinking a line dancing banquet.
‘The Darjeeling limited’ was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Owen Owen Owen. Stop cutting your self, we could go on vacation together and I would see to that you never be sad again. You could stay at our office, hang around when we have the time of our lives, you would be as happy as we are. And maybe someday, when you have gotten to know me, when you are strong again, maybe, you’d fall in love and we could buy a house and have some kids.
But since this will never happen, I walk around with a constant pain in my heart.
We took a leap of faith and went to Washington DC.
We established that there are more sides to the SUV-issue than it being bad for the environment – it feels really really good to drive around in one! Wich makes the issue more complex, plus music in a SUV sounds so unbelievingly good. Parts of us wanted to stay in the SUV forever, like Robinson Crusoe in the warm clay cave. We had to disipline ourselves and went back to NYC. SUVs are the devils bait.
We are in New York.
In the passport inspection you are usually exposed to a small but rather unpleasant interrogation. Not this time.
“Are you best friends?”
“‘Till the end?”
We nodded again.
“Okay. Welcome to America”
It’s probably because we wear the exact same bag and shoes.
A couple of weeks ago we did an installation to give a preview of our spring collection for next year. We did a picnic inspiered by Le déjeuner sur l’herbe, the fantastic painting by Manet. We long for spring and all picnics to come in easy dresses and big denim anoraks.
